City Sightseeing Oxford has partnered with museums in the city to once again offer its Bunny Hop Trail during the Easter school holidays.

Between 28th March and 12th April, children will be able to hop on board a City Sightseeing Oxford bus tour and join the quest to find six bunnies playing hide and seek in the city.

In partnership with the Ashmolean Museum, The Story Museum and Modern Art Oxford, once all the stamps have been collected on a Bunny Hop Trail card, a special Easter-themed reward can be collected from either City Sightseeing Oxford’s visitor information point on the High Street or the travel shop at Gloucester Green.

The trail coincides with City Sightseeing Oxford increasing its frequency of bus tours from 28th March, as the tour provider, which is owned by Oxford Bus Company, ramps up ahead of the busier visitor period.

Kamini Patel, Retail and Tourism Manager at City Sightseeing Oxford, said: “We are excited to be bringing the Bunny Hop Trail back to Oxford from 28th March.

“The trail was a huge success last year, so we are pleased to bring this family activity back to the city and look forward to welcoming everyone for a fun couple of weeks of spotting bunnies at partnering attractions across Oxford.”

During the trail, visitors can enjoy 10 per cent off purchases at The Story Museum cafe upon presentation of a valid trail card or map.

Conrad Bodman, Chief Executive of The Story Museum, said: “We’re delighted to be taking part in this year’s trail and look forward to welcoming visitors to Oxford to the museum.

“It’s wonderful to be partnering with City Sightseeing again, and we hope visitors enjoy our Easter programme.”

Ania Bas, Families Creative Producer at the Ashmolean, said: “The Ashmolean is looking forward to welcoming families over Easter and we are delighted to add the Bunny Hop Trail to our programme of activities.

“In addition to collecting the stamp, the Ashmolean is also inviting visitors to take part in a free Bunny Hunt around the museum to spot rabbits and hares on display in our vast and diverse collection.”

Paul Hobson, Director of Modern Art Oxford, commented: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the Oxford Bus Company again this year on this wonderful piece of seasonal fun.

“We’re greatly looking forward to welcoming families into Modern Art Oxford as part of the trail – good luck to all!”

The Bunny Hop Trail is free to anyone boarding a City Sightseeing Oxford open-top bus tour, while parental supervision is essential throughout as this is a self-led activity.
