Terms and Conditions: Snap Oxford Competition 2026

Event Overview

• City Sightseeing Oxford organises the Summer Snaps Competition 2026 (“the Event”) and will take place from 18th July to 31st August 2026.
• Participation in the Event is open to all individuals who board a City Sightseeing Oxford open-top bus tour during the event period.
• The Event is a self-led activity wherein participants are welcomed to post a photo taken onboard a City Sightseeing Oxford bus tour with the hashtag #SnapOxford
• The Event is free for all ticketed customers of City Sightseeing Oxford within the event period.

Entry Process

1. By entering the competition, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and instructions and agreed to be bound to them.
2. This competition is organised by The City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd (Oxford Bus Company), Cowley House, Watlington Road, Oxford, OX4 6GA (“OBC”) on behalf of City Sightseeing Oxford (“CSSO”).
3. To enter the competition, you must post your photo on either X (Twitter) or Facebook with the hashtag #SnapOxford.
4. All entries must be posted by 23:59 GMT on Tuesday, 31^st August 2026 to be eligible.
5. Any entry which is late, incorrectly submitted, incomplete or otherwise does not comply with the rules may be deemed invalid at the discretion of the Oxford Bus Company or City Sightseeing Oxford.

Eligibility & Participation

• The Snap Oxford Competition 2026 is designed for anyone with social media and a camera.
• Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
• Participants must post their photo to either X (Twitter), Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #SnapOxford between 18th July to 31st August 2026 to participate.
• Entrants must be following City Sightseeing Oxford on X (Twitter) and/or Facebook to enter.
• Only one entry per social media account will be accepted.
• All entries must be unedited photographs taken either with a camera or a phone.
• Photos must be taken either on a City Sightseeing Oxford bus tour or walking tour, you may be asked to provide proof.
• AI generated imagery will not be accepted as an entry.

Prizes & Notification

• The prize for winning the Snap Oxford Competition 2026 includes:
  • Photo displayed in the City Sightseeing Oxford Visitor Information Point
  • One (1) Love2Shop voucher valued at £100.00.
• The winner will be notified by September 2026.
• Each winner will be notified and invited to accept the offered prize within 7 days of being contacted.
  • If a notified winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, another winner will be selected from the remaining entries and contacted as previously stated.
  • Once a subsequent winner has been selected, the previous winner is no longer entitled to the prize.
  • In the unlikely event that no entries are received before the closing date, the prize will not be awarded.

Safety Notice

• Participants should be safe while taking pictures on the bus. Be sure to:
  • Be aware of your surroundings.
  • Remain seated while the bus is in motion.
  • Follow instructions from your driver and/or tour guide where applicable.
  • Be considerate of other passengers.

Use of Information

1. By submitting your entry and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept that:
   • OBC and CSSO will use your details to administer your prize if you are shortlisted or if you win.
   • As a competition entrant, OBC and CSSO will publish your name and your competition response in full online, in physical shops and onboard CSSO Tour Buses. Please see City Sightseeing Oxford’s website for details of our privacy policy: https://www.citysightseeingoxford.com/info/privacy-policy/
   • The entry will be shared with colleagues of OBC and CSSO to decide on a winner.

Key Dates

• Entry Opens: 18th July 2026.
• Entry Closes: 31st August 2026.
• Judging Panel: September 2026.
• Winner Announced: September 2026.

Additional Terms

• The entrant is responsible for obtaining any necessary consents or permissions from any relevant owners of copyright in part of your competition entry.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Oxford Bus Company and City Sightseeing Oxford hereby excludes all warranties, representations, covenants and liability (whether express or implied) regarding the competition or the prize. Nothing, however, shall exclude OBC and CSSO’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
• In the event of any dispute regarding the competition, Oxford Bus Company and City Sightseeing Oxford’s decision shall be binding, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
• Oxford Bus Company and City Sightseeing Oxford may withdraw or cancel the competition for any reason and at any time, and may change the prize to a prize of a similar value. There is no cash alternative. OBC and CSSO are under no obligation to offer refunds, but may do so at their sole discretion.
• Oxford Bus Company and City Sightseeing Oxford reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the competition website:
