World Poetry Day 2025

To celebrate World Poetry Day 2025, poet Andrew Pritchard will be offering a unique bus tour experience by incorporating some of his poems with commentary about the City of Oxford. Poetry on the Bus will be available at tours leaving Queen’s Lane (Stop 10) at 10:25, 11:25 and 12:25 on 21st March 2025.

Andrew’s poetry has become so successful that they are now a regular feature of his tours, alongside true stories, funny stories, and even ghost stories. Politicians, including Boris Johnson, Rishi Sunak, Sir Keir Starmer, and Theresa May, are all mentioned along the one-hour route, which passes by the university’s historic colleges and libraries where they were educated.

Tickets also include access to a Stepping Through Oxford walking tour. The 45-minute tours depart from the Oxford Visitor Information Point on High Street. For further information about this event please contact the Oxford City Sightseeing office at 01865 790522.
