Park End Street
Request Only Stop: Please signal the driver if you wish to board or alight the tour bus at this stop.
To the west of the city centre, Park End Street is close to the Railway Station (the start of our tour) and gets its name from a wharf used to deliver (by barge) coal from Parkend in the Forest of Dean. It was built in 1769 – 1770 as part of New Road.
For those seeking accommodation, The Royal Oxford Hotel and Central Backpackers youth hostel are both nearby.
The Guide Friday City Sightseeing Oxford tour bus stops just outside Staples on Park End Street.
